Appeal Process for Gifted and Talented Services
Grades 7-8
The Gifted-Talented Team makes data-based decisions
regarding services. A student may not have been placed in “Honors” because
his/her CogAt scores were at the 89th percentile or lower; therefore the
parents may choose to appeal for additional academic support.*
