K-6th Grade Music Instruction
I have been teaching elementary music since 1991 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where I lived for 5 years. In 1996, I began teaching in the Mesa Public School District as a travelling general music teacher.
I have been a musician as early as I can remember and I love sharing music with others! My mother gave me piano lessons, at an early age, and I have always loved singing, even as a little girl; either as a soloist or in choirs. I attended schools in the Tempe, AZ School District; Hudson Elementary School, then McKemy Jr. High and McClintock High School. I graduated in 1991 from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana with a Music Education degree. I obtained my Human Relations Masters degree at NAU in 2000
I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful district that fosters learning and constant student achievement in all their programs.
