To enroll a child at Guerrero Elementary for the first time please bring the following information to the school.

  1. Proof of Age: ( Certified copy of the child's state-issued birth certificate) For students entering kindergarten they need to be 5 years old by August 31st of the school year they are enrolling for.
  2. Proof of Residency: (i.e. Valid AZ driver's license, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)
    Immunization History ( documented from a doctor's office with month, day, and year)
  3. Current Immunization Record
  4. Any Special Education paperwork (i.e. IEP, MET, 504 Plan, etc.)
  5. Any Custody Paperwork

*If enrolling after the start of the school year please bring in the withdrawal slip from the previous school attended.

Open enrollment enables Arizona students to attend public schools outside their attendance areas or their districts.

Focused Curriculum

Designed to meet Arizona Academic Standards. Students are tested in Math & English Language Arts to benchmark their progress, supporting teachers as they plan instruction to meet academic needs.

High School & College Readiness

Through AVID strategies, students learn about collaboration, organization, study skills, communication and self-advocacy. They learn how to take focused notes and ask and answer high-level questions.

Positive Behavior & Support Systems

We strive to create a safe learning environment for all children by implementing PBIS, a proactive process used to set behavioral expectations and reinforce positive behavior.
