Tribes and Schoolwide Behavior Management Plan

Tribes KidsHughes is proud to be a Tribes School!

Tribes is the process that Hughes teachers use to build a collaborative culture in their classrooms.

What is Tribes?

Tribes Learning Communities aim to engage all members of the school community in an ongoing, goal-oriented collaboration process.  Through this process, a caring and supportive environment is created  that establishes positive expectations and promotes the active participation of all students.  It maximizes academic, social and emotional development for all children.  The Tribes process includes four community strategies: attentive listening, appreciation/no put downs, the right to pass—the right to participate, and mutual respect.
