Hello Ishikawa students and families!

It is an honor and a privilege to serve our Ishikawa community as a member of the Mesa Elementary Physical Education team along with Mr. Veitel.

I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Morris where I earned a BA in Physical Education.  I also completed a 48 credit graduate program at St. Cloud State University to earn a Special Education teaching certification in Minnesota, and I am certified in both PE and Special Education with the great State of Arizona. I have had many wonderful experiences while  teaching and coaching the past 30+ years both in Minnesota and Arizona.  Most recently before teaching at Ishikawa, I had been serving as a Special Ed. Service Facilitator at Mountain View High School in Mesa.

Our goal at Ishikawa is to help provide our students and families with the most effective and positive PE experience as we possibly can, and to assist our students in exploring new activities, developing physical skills and abilities, while discovering the value and enjoyment in pursuing lifelong participation in positive physical and recreational activities.

Please contact Mr. Veitel or I  if we can ever be of assistance to you or your student regarding their experience with the PE program here at Ishikawa.
