Hello parents and students! I am Mrs. Marx your child's kindergarten teacher. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised right here in Mesa, AZ. I am a Mesa Public Schools Westwood graduate class of '07! I attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, and in 2010 I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education. In the summer of 2015, I completed my Master's Degree with a reading endorsement, also from Northern Arizona University.
During my free time I like to spend time with my husband, my son, my daughter, and two dogs. We enjoy swimming, running, hiking, and traveling. We love the outdoors and spend as much time as we can enjoying nature.
I am very proud to begin my 12th year teaching and my first year at Johnson Elementary. Previously, I have taught special education K-4 and general education kindergarten.
It is my belief that you as a parent are an important part of our team, as we work together to help our students reach their highest potential. Communication is one of the most important tools we can use as a team. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. I am looking forward to a great year!
