Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports
MacArthur's School Wide Behavior Program
We currently use PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) at MacArthur. This is a district system that focuses on clear identification and communication of expectations. We will recognize students making positive choices with Positive Behavior Tickets .
At MacArthur, we are always working toward a school community whose members are safe, responsible, and respectful. This system is based on behavioral research and has proven to have a positive impact on academics and behaviors.
Here at MacArthur we teach and expect that all students to follow the Mustang Mandates Matrix.

Positive Behavior Tickets
It is very important to recognize students for their positive behavior whenever it is shown. Teachers and staff hand out tickets to students who follow the Mustang Mandates. The Positive Behavior Tickets reflect if the student showed Safe, Responsible, or Respectful behavior. The tickets go into drawings each day. Winning students will have their name called on the announcements. These students will receive a "Big Boffo Prize" from the office. Please ask your students daily if and how they received their tickets.
