Tribute to Chandra Hansen

For 11 years, Chandra has devoted her time and energy to the Dobson High School Marching Band.

As uniform coordinator, Chandra ensures the Mustangs feel confident and look smart. With a band roster that averages 120 students each year, it's no small task.

The amount of work it takes to dress the band is mindboggling. Chandra's organizational skills and eye for the correct fit are invaluable to the music program. Everything is golden, right down to the picture-perfect plume in each hat.

Chandra is loved and respected by the Dobson community. Students call her mom, and she knows all of their names by heart. She's a shining role model who radiates positivity and love.

Chandra, thank you for your dedication to Dobson High School. We are pleased to honor you as a Mesa Public Schools Volunteer of the Month.
