Operations employees held their annual tamale breakfast on December 5, 2019 to help district families in need. Team volunteers were up before the sun to cook and serve breakfast to guests including Governing Board members, district colleagues and community supporters. That year's event raised over $2,700 in donations to benefit six families.

Operations Employee of the Month

Operations Employee of the Month - Joe Georges

For the month of December, Joe Georges from the Construction Department is our employee of the month. Joe started with Construction in 2016 and has been an absolute bulldog for our SFB projects. Since Joe has been working for the district, he has spearheaded the SFB efforts and we were able to receive approximately $38,843,777.90 in grants for projects across the district. Unfortunately for us, Joe is retiring on January 6, 2023 to spend time with his family, and work on his garden and woodworking shop.
