CTE Internships at Red Mountain

Internship Requirements

Internship programs provide a structured work-based experience for qualified seniors. Job placement assistance will be provided by the Internship Coordinator. Students must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week for the academic school year.

To be considered for the Internship program, students must:

•    have completed one Carnegie unit in a CTE Program of Study (1 year in a CTE course)

•      be a senior for the 2022-2023 School Year

•      must be in good standing academically (no F’s)

THE PROCESS

RM CTE Internship Meeting for interested students Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 2:15 pm in room 252
  • Step 1: Student application, email or printed transcript to Mrs. Wooton and CTE Teacher recommendation

    • DUE to Coordinator (Wooton) before May 6

  • Step 2: 4 page Student (Parent and Notary) agreement by May 16, 2022

  • Step 3: GET a JOB (before August 31)

  • Step 4: 5 page School-Student-Employer Training Agreement completed with Employer (when you get a job)

  • Step 5: Coordinator adds internship to Student Schedule, Student works and is a great Employee, attends PD and coordinator meetings
