The following are expressly prohibited at Red Mtn. dances: Sexually explicit dancing, dancing that can result in injury or which may cause a personal safety hazard, consumption or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Any person removed from the dance by Red Mtn. staff is not entitled to a refund.
  • All fees and debts must be cleared by the bookstore in order to attend dances.
  • School staff, security, & Mesa Police serve as dance chaperones. Student and guest behavior are expected to meet guidelines outlined in the Student Handbook.
  • Parents are welcome to drop off and pick up their students. Prior authorization is required for adults to attend school dances.
  • Once students have been admitted into a dance, they will not be permitted to leave and visit the parking lot, and then return.
  • Students (1) Exhibiting inappropriate behavior or (2) Under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be removed. Refunds will not be given.



  • Homecoming and Prom are considered "formal attire" events.
  • Appropriate attire includes suits and ties, dresswear, cocktail-style dresses, and gowns.
  • Each student must sign a code of conduct that shares the same expectations for attire and behavior.


Guest Passes:

All Guests must have an approved guest pass on file prior to the dance. Students may pick up an application in the Bookstore. Guest pass applications are not accepted at the door. Guest pass applications require a photocopy of a picture ID.
