Black Student Union Spirit Week

 

To celebrate Black History Month, the Black Student Union is hosting a Spirit Week next week! All students are encouraged to participate in this Spirit Week! 

 

Monday will be Blackout Day, wear as much black clothing as you can!

 

Tuesday will be Cultural Day, wear clothes to represent your culture and embrace diversity at Skyline!

 

Wednesday will be Inspirational Day, dress up as an inspirational African American leader/celebrity or wear clothes that represent them such as merch or jerseys!

 

Thursday will be Remembrance Day, wear a specific color to represent a victim of racial injustice. A key of the colors and victims will be put up tomorrow in the 800 building!

 

Friday will be Skyline Pride Day, wear Skyline colors or your class color to show your school spirit!

 

Let's end Black History Month off with a Bang Skyline!!"

Do you want to promote positive mental health on campus and reduce the stigma of mental health?  Join the Bring Change 2 Mind Club!  We will be meeting every Thursday at 12:45 in the Coyote Strong area of the cafeteria starting today.  Bring your lunch and learn more about what we are doing.  Need more info?  Contact Ms. Talia - tmscheletsky@mpsaz.org

Skyline High School Theatre Presents, Drinking Habits by Tom Smith, Thursday, February 18th & Friday, February 19th @ 7:00 p.m. Tickets are only available in the bookstore. Tickets are $6 and will not be sold at the door.

 

Sports

 

All girls interested in trying out for Beach Volleyball there is a mandatory meeting TODAY Thursday, 2/18 and Tuesday, 2/23 in the North gym at 3:20 p.m., right after school.  Coach Kiana will be there to answer your questions.  Our brand-new sand courts are being built on our campus and will be amazing!
