We ask that you try and avoid taking your child out of school on testing days. Please be aware that once a student begins a test, they must complete the test. If your student does need to be released early on a testing day, please notify our front office 480-472-9901.
The Arizona State Board of Education and the Arizona Department of Education have interest in gathering achievement data to gain insight into how students are performing today compared to how students performed prior to the pandemic. Your participation, as parents, is crucial for the success of Smith students and we sincerely appreciate your commitment to helping your child perform well. Most importantly, students need to be here on time, get adequate rest and eat a healthy breakfast and lunch.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please contact a counselor, teacher, special education provider or school administration.
With temperatures on the rise please remind your students to follow the dress code and to bring a water bottle or container with them to school. Our water fountains are only available as filling stations.
