Biography
Hello Everyone!
This is my 25th year in Special Education. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Stonybrook, in Long Island, NY and moved immediately to Chicago to pursue a Master's Degree in Special Education. I moved from the chilly weather to sunny Phoenix, Arizona in 1995. I started teaching Junior High Resource for Phoenix Elementary School District from 1995-2005. I started raising a family and worked part-time as adjunct faculty for Rio Salado College and became the Teacher In Residence Coach for Rio Salado College. My daughters are now 19 and 22 years old. I continue to teach online for GCU and SNHU. My current role at Mesa Public Schools is Department Specialist for Lindsay Massey the Director of Specialized Instruction.
In my free time I love to run, ride my bike and be outdoors! I love to spend time with my family and friends. I have been completing some bucket list items, most recently completed a 1/2 Ironman and will travel to Alaska this summer!
I feel fortunate to have found my home with Mesa Public Schools.
