Biography
Hello my name is Sean Enright and I am the Director of Curriculum and Assessment and am responsible for the Science and Social Sciences Resource Center (SSRC). In addition to the areas of science and social science, I also oversee the all content areas in curriculum, driver education, and Project M.E.S.A. I am also the district testing coordinator and oversee assessment in the Mesa Public Schools.
This is my thirteenth year with the Mesa Public Schools. Prior to joining the Mesa family, I was a school administrator in Michigan. My professional experiences include being a curriculum and assessment director for fourteen years and a high school assistant principal for seven years.
Prior the becoming an administrator, I taught middle school and high school mathematics, physics, science, and technology for seven and a half years.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Detroit in 1992. I was a mathematics major and physics minor. I have a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Detroit Mercy. In 2007, I received a Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Michigan State University in K-12 Educational Administration.
I reside with my wife Nicole in northeast Mesa. Our daughter Sara, a 2022 Red Mountain graduate, is attending Georgia Tech and majoring in computer science.
