Mr. Snyder is a 1982 graduate of Glassboro State College, now Rowan University, located in southern New Jersey.  He graduated with a B.A. Degree in Music Education with honors...Cum Laude.  Mr. Snyder taught seven years in New Jersey before moving to Arizona in 1990 and has taught in the Mesa Public School system since 1993.  He is the director of choral activities at Franklin Jr. High and Summit Academy for grades 7/8 and is the MPS Secondary Choral Specialist.  As choral specialist, Mr. Snyder supports the secondary choral personnel in what ever capacity is needed and is responsible for coordinating the MPS Secondary Choral Festival held each fall at the Mesa Arts Center as well as the MPS Junior High Honor Choir, whose concert is held annually on the first Saturday in March, which is Music in Our Schools month.  Mr. Snyder is also music director, organist and choir director for Hosanna Lutheran Church and School in east Mesa.
