Mrs. Christine Divine
I'm so excited to be teaching Gifted and Talented this year. I have been teaching 3rd and 4th grade in MPS for the past 27 years. My focus is going to be giving students an opportunity to develop critical and creative thinking skills. My goal is for every student to leave with the love of learning. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from ASU and have a Master's degree in Elementary Education from NAU. I also have my Reading, ESL, and Gifted Endorsements. I've been married for 30 years and have two children Cameron 23 and Rachael 19. Cameron just graduated from NAU getting his bachelors degree in Engineering and Rachael is going to Tokyo, Japan to study Japanese. In my spare time I love traveling the world with my family. I've had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and to several different countries including, France, Germany, India, Turkey, China, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.
I'm looking forward to a great year in Gifted and Talented. I will be servicing students from Washington, Roosevelt, Redbird, Guerrero, Pomeroy, Crismon, and Sirrine. Below are great resources to keep learning.
