East Valley Institute of Technology - EVIT

With locations throughout the East Valley, EVIT career training programs are tuition-free to high school students in Mesa Public Schools. To meet MPS graduation requirements, students split days between their home high school and EVIT.  Transportation to and from EVIT and your home high school is provided for MOST programs.  See the transportation information linked below.

Classes are for high school Juniors and Seniors only. You will register during your 10th grade year.  For more information about programs and opportunities, make an appointment with your Westwood Counselor.

STEP ONE -

Email your Counselor BEFORE you apply for EVIT

Your Westwood Counselor will email you the required documents you will need to submit with your EVIT application.  Be sure to include your name and Westwood ID when emailing your Counselor!

Create your EVIT Account and complete your application

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How do I submit my transcripts, immunization and attendance records?

A. Please contact your counselor who will send you the required documents to upload on your application. 

Q. How do I know If I have been accepted by EVIT?

A. You will receive an email from EVIT to the email account that you provided on the application indicating that you have been accepted. 

Q. Can I change my EVIT program time from AM to PM?

A. Many programs are full and students are unable to change the time of their program. You will need to contact EVIT to see if there is room. 

Q. What do I do if I no longer want to attend EVIT?

A. Enrollment changes need to be completed within the first two weeks of the school year. Please contact your assigned counselor.
