Volunteer tutors student as he reads

Happy National Volunteer Month!

Through the AARP Experience Corps Mesa program, students across Mesa Public Schools are strengthening their reading skills, building confidence, and creating meaningful connections through one-on-one support.

Thanks to a partnership between the AARP and the City of Mesa, caring volunteers are making a difference in classrooms across our district.

We’re grateful for the dedicated volunteers serving students at 10 Mesa Public Schools campuses: Adams, Bush, Falcon Hill, Field, Guerrero, Holmes, Robson, Sousa, Webster, and Whitman. Their support inspires a lifelong love of reading and helps students grow every day.
