As we wrap up another incredible school year in Mesa Public Schools, I want to take a moment to celebrate our students, families, staff, and community. Together, we continue to live out our promise to know every student by name, serve them by strength and need, and prepare them for college, career, and community.

This year brought outstanding achievements across our district. More than 4,400 seniors are graduating, with students pursuing college, careers, military service, and other meaningful opportunities. Nearly 1,000 students earned college credits while still in high school, saving families millions in tuition costs, and more than 3,000 students participated in internships, job shadows, and work-based learning experiences.

Our students also continued to excel beyond the classroom. Red Mountain High School earned both the AIA Division 1 and Open State boys track & field championships and AIA Open State Championship in Gameday Cheer, our schools captured multiple state titles in Unified sports, and two Mesa students earned national Academic Decathlon honors. We also celebrated 420 students earning Diploma Seals and multiple state honors in music and the arts.

Perhaps most inspiring, Mesa students contributed more than 200,000 community service hours this year, demonstrating compassion, leadership, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

These accomplishments are possible because of the incredible partnership between our schools and community. To our teachers, support staff, families, volunteers, business partners, and community members, thank you for showing up for students every single day.

To the Class of 2026, congratulations. We are proud of all you have accomplished and excited for the impact you will make in the future.

And to all 51,000 families who chose Mesa Public Schools this year, thank you for your trust and partnership. It is an honor to serve your children, and we look forward to welcoming students back on August 6 for another year of opportunity, growth, and success.

Every day… every child.
