This is your opportunity to review your benefits, make changes, and ensure you have the right coverage for the upcoming plan year, July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.

What’s New?

  • No Rate Changes! Your Medical, Dental, and Vision premiums are staying the same.

  • Internal Revenue Services (IRS) – Required High Deductible High Plan (HDHP) Deductible Increase – The HDHP $1600 Plan deductible will increase from $1,600 to $1,650 for individual and from $3,200 to $3,300 for family. This increase, as per the IRS, will allow you to remain eligible for a health savings account.

  • OAP Plan Deductible Changes – The new deductible increased to $900 individual/$1,800 Family.

  • Out-Of-Network Coverage Removal for HDHP Plans – To help manage costs, out-of-network coverage will no longer be available under HDHP plans.

  • New Pathwell Oncology Consult Services – Offering expert support for cancer care.

  • Flexible Health Care Spending Account – 2025 Contribution Limit Increase to $3,300 up from $3,200.

  • Health Savings Accounts – MPS contribution will be distributed in September 2025.

  • NEW Life Insurance Vendor – We are transitioning to a new provider, Securian—Minnesota Life. For Open Enrollment, you will be eligible to apply for coverage up to the guaranteed issue limit of the lesser of four times the base annual salary or $500,000 without evidence of insurability (EOI).

What You Need to Do

  • Your current benefits will roll over to the new plan year. Review your benefit elections, beneficiaries, and dependent information to ensure they are correct for the upcoming plan year.

  • Enrolled in a Flexible Health Care Spending Account and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts. You must

    RE-ENROLL to continue any Flexible Spending Accounts for the new plan year.

  • Needing to make changes? Simply log in to the Benefits Online Enrollment System and use your Mesa Public Schools email address as your username and network password. 

  • Review the valuable information available in the enclosed 2025-2026 Employee Benefits Guide (Rates are inside) to help you select the best options for you

    and your family.
