If you have 10 or more absences(excused or unexcused) in a class, you will need to submit a blue attendance audit form to appeal for credit. You will need to complete the form and provide an explanation for the absences. Attach any documentation to support the appeal, such as a doctor’s note, by the due date. Your administrator will review your appeal to determine your credit status.
Forms need to be turned in to the attendance office the week of April 28th - May 2. Forms will not be accepted after May 2, 2025.
If you have not received a form in the mail, you can pick up an audit appeal form from the attendance office.

As Cinco de Mayo approaches, let’s take a moment to think critically about what it really means. Contrary to popular belief, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day — that’s actually on September 16. Instead, it marks a regional victory in 1862 during the Battle of Puebla.
In Mexico, the day isn’t widely celebrated outside of Puebla. In the U.S., its popularity has more to do with beer marketing campaigns from the 1980s than with history.
So, if you celebrate Cinco de Mayo, enjoy it — but also take time to understand its deeper context. The Latino Club encourages all of us to be informed and thoughtful about the cultures we celebrate.
