Hey Toros, Would you like to let your voice be heard in many of the things happening here at Mountain View? And wouldn't you LOVE to get Service Learning hours for it too? Consider attending the monthly SIAC Committee. We meet the first Monday of every month. Some of your peers are there. Admin is there. Some of your amazing teachers are there. PARENTS are even there! Our next meeting is happening January 12th, at 3:34 pm, in the Library. We hope to see you there. At the meeting, we will discuss the requirements to become a voting student member. Students are welcome to attend whether voting members or not.

Come audition for the Spring musical, The Music Man! We are looking for singers, dancers, actors, and anyone with a talent to share onstage. QR codes for signups are located around campus. You will need to prepare 32 bars of a song to perform. Please see Mrs. Miner in room 409 for questions.
A reminder from the library: All library books are due starting Monday the 15th. All books must be returned to the library before leaving for the holiday break.

Stop by the Career Center and ask Mrs. Simmonds for a copy of the Desert Club scholarship. Last year 3 students from Mountain View were awarded this scholarship so apply soon!
Dec. 16th marks Jane Austen's 250th birthday, and to celebrate, the library is hosting a TRIVIA CONTEST THIS WEEK, where you can test your knowledge on all things Austen. Entries will be accepted through the end of lunch on Dec. 16th. The winner will be announced at the end of the school day on the 16th.
