Taft Elementary Yearbook Pre-Sales start today! Yearbooks will be $20. You can order online at https://az-mesa.intouchreceipting.com or send $20 with the order form that will be sent home on Monday. Orders will not be accepted after March 3rd.
The Taft Lost and Found is overflowing with 100+ jackets and sweatshirts.
If your child has forgot their jacket at school, please remind them to take a look at the Lost and Found in the gym. Parents are welcome to stop by after school to look as well.
Free and Reduced Lunch Qualification Equals School Funding!
Find out if your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch through the Food & Nutrition application process. Not only does this help stretch your wallet, but eligible schools can receive additional funding.
The percentage of students enrolled in this meal service directly relates to additional funding allocated to Taft’s Title 1 program which in turn provides instructional support services and instructional materials. The additional Title 1 funding is contingent on the number of students actually enrolled in the meal service program, so enrollment is important.
To find out if your family is eligible for free or reduced meal prices (click here) to view the Income Eligibility Guidelines. Completion of enrollment will ensure the continuation of additional funding for valuable student programs and services at Taft. Applications are available online (click here). Only one application is needed per family. Applications are also available at school offices, school cafeterias and at the Food and Nutrition Department offices at 143 S. Alma School Road, Mesa, Arizona 85210.

Picture retakes are coming up on Wednesday, November 2. If you would like to have your child's picture retaken, all you need to do is return the original picture package.
All students that missed the first picture day will also get their picture taken.

This Tuesday is Taft Family Movie Night sponsored by Hiway Baptist Church. At 6pm we will be watching "The Bad Guys" out on the field. Make sure you bring chairs or blankets to sit on. There will also be free hotdogs, snow cones, and popcorn!
